January 2020 marked the 44th anniversary of David Bowie’s incredible 10th studio LP ‘Station To Station’, released on the 23rd of January 1976 🎸
One of Bowie’s darkest and perhaps most moving albums, this record is undoubtedly a career highlight. The title track alone is worth the price of admission.
Beautifully written with mind blowing performances from David and his (obscenely funky!) band, the album also boasts a stella production job from Bowie and Harry Maslin.
It’s certainly in my top 5 Bowie albums of all time which is the reason I decided to cover the whole thing at The Ship in Soho recently... it’s also the reason I’m giving you my full acoustic interpretation now in this video 🎥
