This postgraduate certificate looks at working effectively with under-18’s in the field of counselling & psychotherapy. Students will have the opportunity to explore creative media such as music, art/clay, sand tray and therapeutic stories as part of this experiential learning. The course will be underpinned by theory, in areas such as Lifespan Development relevant to working with young people. Students will also engage in clinical placement work along with clinical supervision in order to meet the course requirement of 50 client hours.
