USAID Visit Tunisia Activity - The International Festival of Matmata 2023

In partnership with the Smithsonian Center for Folklife and Cultural Heritage, USAID Visit Tunisia Activity launched the “Festival Incubator”, a technical assistance and mentoring program to help Tunisian festival organizers, who host major heritage-focused events, better design, organize, and market their events. The International Festival of Matmata is one of the six supported festivals. The incubation phase of the festivals included security management, volunteer management, business planning, and marketing and will be completed by end of 2023.
