Sevachild provides disaster relief; food, vitamin A and water wells to the poorest people in India, especially to disaster-stricken and impoverished families in India.
The two Leprosy colonies experiencing a disaster with their water well that Sevachild visited had been dealing with polluted water supplies for decades because nobody seemed to care. It's a water crisis in India, an avoidable disaster. Many villagers in the colonies had serious water-borne disease from the water, and some it is suspected died from complications from drinking this tainted water.

When a Sevachild volunteer discovered what was happening to these poor Leprosy brothers and sisters Sevachild immediately started a fund-raising campaign and within weeks had started well drilling for drinking water that would stop the disease they were experiencing from this water crisis. Because of the water crisis In the villages in India, and there is no Fema to help here, we started well drilling and constructing the holding tank and drinking water stations beneath. As the clean drinking water began to flow one of the villager who suffers from leprosy and other disease said "Finally someone cared enough to help!".
