You've made a documentary, whether a short or feature length, that you feel is perfect for educational purposes. But how do you get it to that important and potentially lucrative market? Basically, there are two ways: 1. Find an educational distributor, or 2. Do it yourself. In this discussion, recorded as part of The D-Word's weekly F2F's on Zoom, two leading experts in educational distribution break down the ins and outs of each path towards getting your film into classrooms, and offer plenty of tips and advice along the way.

Rachel Gordon is a director, producer and author of "The Documentary Distribution Toolkit: How to Get Out, Get Seen, and Get an Audience." James Michael- Boyer is the Director of Operations at Collective Eye Films, distributing a boutique catalog of award-winning documentaries to the worldwide educational market.

Moderated by D-Word founder and co-host Doug Block.
This session was recorded on July 22, 2022, and includes ASL interpretation.
