NCT 127 has 9 active members. what about the 10th member winwin? SM never really gave us an official answer(??) bc when he joined WayV, he kinda just dipped from NCT 127 (his first unit) and we never got any official news if he's still in the 127 unit or left it. i just said they're 10 members bc they never stated that he left (tho we may continue to wonder...)
MARK LEE, member of NCT 127 and NCT Dream, is kind an unofficial leader of NCT Dream. he's the oldest and the hyung so yeah it kinda comes natural.
NCT Dream started out as a GRADUATIONAL unit, where the youngest members of NCT would be a part of the unit-group until they reached the age of 20 (korean age), then they would graduate from the unit and eventually join another (or just continue to vibe in NCT U). HOWEVER this concept was changed (thanks for listening SM), and yeah, the now-going-concept is described in the video~
the NCT system can be confusing at first, but once you get it, everything just clicks so don't be discouraged :3 NCT has this never ending member concept where they will continue to add members until (yeah who knows???).

there was also like a year (or two-ish?) where we didn't even know if WayV was part of NCT, but they officially are! :D (despite the mistreatment…)
