2年に渡る全国ツアー「LUNA SEA 30th Anniversary Tour 20202021 -CROSS THE UNIVERSE-」のGRAND FINALとして、2022年1月9日（日）に開催された「さいたまスーパーアリーナ」公演の模様から、3rdアルバム『EDEN』収録のオープニングナンバー「JESUS」のライヴ映像が特別公開された。
最新アルバム「CROSS」を携え、2020年2月1日にスタートを切った記念すべき全国ツアーであったが、コロナ禍という全世界を巻き込んだパンデミックにより、ほとんどの公演が延期振替に。そんな未だかつてない逆境に見舞われる中、必ずやこのツアーを完遂させるんだというメンバーの強い意志によって、約2年間という歳月をかけて遂に辿り着いたGRAND FINALの舞台となった。
この日も全国ツアーと同様に、感染症防止対策として途中20分間の換気時間を設けた初の2部構成というスタイルで行われた。第1部は、最新アルバム『CROSS』からの楽曲を中心とした構成、第2部はオールタイムベストなセットリストとなっており、「JESUS」は第2部のオープニングナンバーとして、ライヴ後半に向けての勢いを加速させる重要なポイントで演奏された。オーディエンスは声を出しての声援が出来ない状況下においても、拳を突き上げクラップし、惜しみない拍手でバンドと共に感動的なライヴ空間を作り上げていった。
ツアー終了後にはRYUICHI（Vo）が声帯に出来た静脈瘤を除去する手術を行うため、一時活動休止という名の充電期間に入ることが発表されていた中でのライヴとなったが、「必ず帰ってきます。待っていてください！」というRYUICHIの力強い言葉は、LUNA SEAの更なる飛躍に向けた前向きな決断として、ファンの心に深く刻まれたに違いない。

With their latest album "CROSS", the band started their memorable nationwide tour on February 1, 2020, but due to the worldwide pandemic, most of the shows had to be postponed. In the face of such unprecedented adversity, the members were determined to complete the tour, and after two years of hard work, they finally arrived at the stage for the grand final.
On this day, as during the whole national tour, the show was held in two parts, with a 20-minute ventilation period during the show to prevent infections. The first part consisted mainly of songs from the latest album "CROSS", while the second part presented an all-included best setlist, and "JESUS" was played as the opening number of the second part, marking an important point to accelerate the momentum towards the latter half of the show. Even though the audience could not cheer aloud, they raised their hands and applauded generously, creating a moving live atmosphere together with the band.
After the tour, it was announced that Vocal RYUICHI would have surgery to remove polyps from his vocal cords, so he would be taking a temporary break to recharge and recover.
"I'll definitely be back. Please wait for me!" RYUICHI's powerful words, deeply engraved in the hearts of the fans, set the tone for positive decisions to further LUNA SEA's progress.
