I flew to La La Land (again) to attend one of the last tapings of The Late Late Show with James Corden as the host, a show that has entertained and kept me company over the past few years as well as many others. (The Crosswalk Musicals are everything) I got tickets to see the show with Seth Meyers Sunday afternoon and had about 12 hours to plan the trip. Monday 3:00am I'm on a rainy highway to catch a 5:00am flight. I arrived a few minutes too late and all the studio seats were filled so I got turned away which ended up working out because I sent an email and thankfully got tickets to the show the next day where Sharon Stone & Jack Whitehall were the special guests. My outfit was better and the guests were better. Sharon gave a gushing goodbye to James. She certainly brought the glamour in a bright hot pink one-shoulder dress by Tony Ward and gave James a piece of own art from her first collection of paintings which was aptly entitled A Fine Way To Say Goodbye. I shed a tear because one it was my first time attending a taping of a TV show at CBS studios and it was truly inspiring seeing how a TV show is filmed but also you could tell Sharon was serious about missing him. I also had to dance like a wiggly worm for a T-shirt in front of 300 people which thankfully was not aired. Then I walked around Beverly Hills before Dinner at Musso & Frank and went to the Griffith Observatory the next day before leaving back for the East Coast..again, but I'll be back.
