For the past seven days, Tunisia has been rocked by protests. The demonstrations started after the government introduced new austerity measures. The government hopes a 70 million dollar boost in social aid will appease protesters. Activists have, however, called for continued protests this Sunday, which also marks the anniversary of the 2011 unrest that triggered political changes across the Arab world.
