Have you thought about getting a knee massager to help out with your knee pain?

Well before you buy one, let’s dive into the pros and cons of the knee massager and comment below if you’ve ever thought about getting one of these!

Let’s dig into what it does :

This specific one provides heat, vibration, and infrared light therapy.

The heat and vibration will help improve circulation and help decrease some of the pain. However, the real winner with this particular knee massager is the infrared light therapy!

Infrared light therapy will not only increase blood flow and decrease inflammation but also stimulate cellular activity through a process called photobiomodulation.

-The light penetrates deep into the cells around your knee and promotes the production of ATP. Your body already produces ATP but light therapy is the only way to produce more of it. There are no supplements or medications that help with this.

This is an amazing feature in this knee massager and after a lot of review, I wouldn’t get another one unless it has the infrared light therapy included.

It’s also wireless...

The Con's

It’s not a long-term fix. You need to be addressing the overall cause of your knee pain. Whether you had a knee injury or not, what is causing more pressure across your knee joint? Is it tight muscles, is it weak muscles, is it bad shoes? All these you need to take into consideration.

What would I do if I had knee pain for more than just a couple weeks? I’d do my online knee rehab program which is cheaper than this :) which is a day-by-day complete knee rehab program for 1 month. However, there is a time and place for these and if you have the money, I’d do both my online course and this knee massager because the knee exercises don’t help in the production of ATP, which only can be done with light therapy which this has…

WHAT IS THE KNEE JOINT?
The knee joint is where our thigh bone and shin bone meet. It helps us bend our legs and move around. Ligaments and muscles help keep the knee joint stable.

WHAT CAUSES KNEE PAIN?
Knee pain can be caused by various factors. Some common causes include injuries, such as sprains or strains, or overuse from activities like running or jumping. Other causes may include conditions like arthritis, or problems with the kneecap or cartilage inside the knee.

HOW TO TREAT KNEE PAIN?

You will see the quickest recovery possible if you combine these three approaches:

1. Increase blood flow and decrease tension through active release, scraping, cupping, and blood flow restriction therapy.

2. Stretching not only the muscles around the knee like the hamstrings, quads, and calves, but also the joints/muscles above and below the knee.

3. Strengthening the hip to improve the biomechanics of the entire leg (do this after your pain is gone!)

4. Good foot support with the proper shoes and shoe inserts if needed!
