In this scene YUUDAI and AMI go on a BAD DATE. Why is the date so bad? Nothing terrible happens but AMI is completely flat, withdrawn and disinterested. She commonly acts bored on her dates and it is tiresome to watch. There are plenty of people who come on this show and they are in earnest (they really want to find a boyfriend or girlfriend). But AMI KOMURO (小室安未) is very arrogant and aloof. She allows people to tie themselves into knots asking her out and planning dates to take her on. She acts like the queen of a dark town that nobody should visit. As if the men are lucky enough to even have a few moments alone with her. I feel bad for YUUDAU ARAI (新井雄大), SHOHEI, TAKA and all the other people she strings along. It's not fun to watch. But this is still a classic scene from one of the best seasons of TERRACE HOUSE.
