UNBOUND 2019 Choreography Competition Judge Showcase - Sanha Lee
In November 2019, UQ Street Groove held its first-ever choreography competition titled 'UNBOUND'. The aim of the competition is to invite and encourage all budding dancers, beginner and open-levelled of any dance style, to compete in teams against one another in a friendly, safe environment. Teams sign up to either the beginner or open categories and are judged by a panel of experienced dancers for the winning title in each category!
The competition was held at the end of our second semester as a de-stress event for our competitors and audience, after the grueling assessment period that had just been faced by our club members. As such, all teams of each category did amazing on the night, and were supported well by our lovely audience of fellow club members, dancers, friends, family, and our executive team! We hope to continue this event and confidently bring more and more dancers to the stage in the future!
