As crazy as it sounds I experiment with a simple metal coat hanger in an attempt to get FREE TV and succeed with 9 HD channels. The basic impedance mismatched approach yielded 5 channels. When we added an impedance matching balun the reception greatly improves with 7 channels. We then add an amplifier and gained 2 additional channels for a total of 9 channel with a coat hanger!
