~Take the JR Tohoku/Hokkaido Shinkansen from Tokyo to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto (4 hours) and transfer to the Hokuto limited express to Sapporo (3.5 hours).
~Make sure to reserve your seat in advance, so you don't have to stand up if there's no available seat.
~You can bring food inside the Shinkansen (We bought our bento box and sandwich in the train station)
~They also offer food inside the Shinkansen but it's a little bit expensive.
