Berlin Alley is the name of an old and historical alley in the center of Tehran. This alley, which is about 260 meters long, is located in the center of Tehran, in the south of Jomohri-e-Islami Street, between Lalezar South and Ferdowsi Streets [1] and has various shops for fabrics, clothes, evening dresses, especially underwear and other goods. [2] Many peddlers sell their goods in this alley. Tehran's Friday market has been open in a multi-story parking lot adjacent to this alley since ancient times.
The south gate of the German Embassy opens to this alley, and its name is derived from the name of the capital of Germany, Berlin (Berlin with French pronunciation). One of the doors of the German embassy also opens to this alley. Among the places close to it, I can mention Lalezar Street, Pars Theater, Farhang Islamic Publishing House, Cinema Museum, National Hospital, Region 12 Municipality, Union House, National Jewelry Museum, Turkish Embassy and German Embassy.
Lalezar Street in Tehran is one of the old and central streets of Tehran. This street leads from the south to Imam Khomeini Square (Artillery), from the north to the Islamic Revolution Street. During the Qajar and early Pahlavi periods, Lalezar was a symbol of Iran's modernism and art and was nicknamed "Shanzelize" of Tehran. Many theaters, restaurants, shops, cabarets, cup shops, tailor shops, cinemas and famous stores of Iran are located on this street. This street has become the electricity and lighting market of Lalezar Tehran, and it is the main center and stock exchange of Tehran's lighting industry, such as all kinds of LED lamps and LED lights.
