In this video I show you how to do a "Nozzle Check" test print and do cleaning cycles from a Epson Expression Home XP2100. Both of these can be done directly from the printer itself, meaning these proceedures can be done with the PC off or even if your printer is not connected to anything at all.
A nozzle check is a great way to troubleshoot print quality issues with your canon printer and check the printers ability to produce black, cyan, magenta and yellow ink. If you do experience any print quality issues I would recommend doing one or more cleaning cycles from your printer.
"Printhead Cleaning" is essential knowledge for resolving almost any print quality issue with your Epson XP2100 printer, from missing colours to striped prints. Cleaning in this way does use up black, cyan, magenta and yellow within your 603 & 603XL ink cartridges, so we recommend using it sparingly with your Expression Home printer.
Although we have used the Epson Expression Home XP-2100 when making this video, the process remains the same for the XP-2105 too.
