12月28日に行われる競馬「第59回有馬記念」のPRイベント「ウルトラ有馬記念＠AKIBA」のオープニングセレモニーが東京・秋葉原の「ベルサール秋葉原」で行われ、俳優の石丸幹二さんが登場した。
イベントでは、石丸さんは「初代ウルトラマン」と高さ5メートルの「ウルトラ馬像」の除幕式行った。

The opening ceremony of the PR event “Ultra arima@ AKIBA Anniversary” for the horse racing ""59th Arima Anniversary"" (to be organized on December 28th) was held at ""Bellesalle Akihabara"" in Akihabara, Tokyo, with the attendance of actor Kanji Ishimaru.
At the event, Ishimaru organized an unveiling ceremony for the first-generation Ultraman and a 5m-high “Ultra horse statue”."
