Today marks one year since Charles was crowned King. It started with crowds and crowns, with the King keen to highlight issues important to him, helping local communities, the environment, culture and the Commonwealth.
Then came news of his cancer diagnosis, forcing the King to step back from public duties.
To celebrate, the King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery will fire a 41 Gun Royal Salute supported by the Band of the Grenadier Guards in Green Park.
The Honourable Artillery Company will follow this at 1300 by firing a further 62 Gun Royal Salute from Tower Wharf.
