Yes, Stellar is popular and is probably the most often recommended tool. It does not mean it is always the best.

I test it against 3 real-life cases. 2 of those were presented to me as 'corrupt' JPEG cases and turned out to be corrupt file system issues.

Drive letters in the video are mounted disk images of the original corrupted memory cards.

Case 1: Only about 20% of recovered photos (using JpegDigger) were fit to be edited to a presentable state.
