Editing Details:
I made Titanic 2 trailer 6 with the expectation that it will be the same as the previews, but I was surprised once again for the new connections I found. The first collection of footage I collected needed more Leonardo and Kate so I research more and thankfully, I found THE GREAT GATSBY which we get most of Leonardo's clips. The first conversation of Rose and Jack "nice to see you" is from that film, which I edited clips of Kate from THE HOLIDAY with her standing looking at Jack.
I made the beginning begin with Titanic news paper to show the history. Just like the previews version, I incorporated the new features like Kate interview and making her say Jack's name audio from Titanic. Rose finding out the news about Jack is pretty much the same as the previews except we see Tom Hanks the person in the other line. SHUTTER ISLAND (2010) part is the line "What's the next move" I made about Jack asking Rose about going to Titanic 2. Then the drawing part this time we see Jack doing it (which makes more sense because he as the artist) so I used the line "you have a gift Jack" from Titanic. Thanks to REVOLUTIONARY ROAD it was possible.
Likewise to make the story move forward I did voice over, 3 to be exact. The phone call of Rose, phone call for the Captain and the welcome announcement for the Titanic 2. I connected clips of The Captain inside the Titanic, from a museum. I'm honestly impressed at the final result, specially how the music was able to fit well with the genre. For the first time I got an idea to use clips from Titanic documentary which I help give the fresh clips of the iconic ship.
