For families it's a must visit whilst in Zakopane. There's a full days entertainment and of course exercise from running up and down the hill or exploring the snow castle.
Zakopane is about 2 hours away from Krakow in the Tatra Mountains. and could be done as a day trip, but with so much to see and admire it's worth at least 2 days.
