1st Time Moving Baby Grand Piano!

This video goes over my first time moving a baby grand piano. This was not my personal client but I was helping out a fellow mover who had also never moved a baby grand. We were both fully aware of the liability and risk.

I would recommend three guys to move a piano like this just to help lift the piano and turn it onto its side, however we were able to do it with just two guys.

Having some pads on hand really helps the process and protects the piano.
Start by protecting the top of the piano.
Place a pad under the middle leg in order to remove the leg closest to the flat side of the piano.
Turn the piano on it’s side to remove the remaining three legs.
Place on a four wheel dolly and strap it up!
