Have you ever wondered why Bad Blood by Taylor Swift or The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe sound good that you experience some kind of 'chill' in your blood? The answer is alliteration and consonance. Known for their rhythmic values, these devices are widely used in songs and poems to attract listeners or readers.
