9月２日未明、おわら風の盆の街流しを見てきました。
おわらの公式行事は午後11時で終わりますが、午前０時を過ぎた頃から地元住民たちがひっそりと踊る姿が町のあちこちで見られます。観光客がほとんどいなくなった静かな通りで行われる街流しは、心に染み入るような光景でこれがおわら本来の姿だという声も聞かれます。

In the early morning of September 2, I saw the dances of the Owara Kaze no Bon.
The official Owara event ends at 11:00 p.m., but even after midnight, local residents quietly dances here and there throughout the town. Some people say that this is the true form of the Owara, as the streets are quiet and there is a few tourists.
