Who are you, how did this begin? My name is MauLer and I like all of the usual internet content; though as time went on I got a little too far into looking at things in detail. I once created a video out of pure passion for Amnesia: The Dark Descent;  It was to try and shed light on the mediocre sequel and present my arguments for why Amnesia: The Dark Descent was forgotten about when they developed Machine for Pigs. After a positive response I decided to create a second series 2 years later comparing Amnesia: The Dark Descent with SOMA. Both of these games were created by Frictional Games and I looked very deeply into them. Upon the completion of this second set of videos I decided that there were many subjects I would like to take this approach with and there we're people who were interested in it. However I simply do not have the time to work on them, so I created this page to try and get an impression of how many people we're interested in my work.  I don't expect anyone to do anything. This is pretty much just an experiment; however I am interested in making a sort of career out of this and if anyone else is, then consider supporting my work through here, if not; I will still see you on YouTube :-) But MauLer, why do you need money? "These videos take ages to gather the material for. My Dark Souls 2 series and the SOMA series both took a full 1-2 months of time to simply gather the information I needed to begin script writing, the total time for completion was 3 months. I have to pay rent and the time my job takes out of my life means that I simply cannot be this in depth with my analysis videos." ^^ I suppose I should update this piece now that I am officially out of a job, I have saved a decent chunk of money over the last 2 years and I am now going to spend all of my available time working on videos, trying my best to make a potential career from this, which of course, requires support that I can hopefully earn.  Anything I should know? I don't sell my opinion, therefore I don't have a lot of options for money making content, like promoting games whether or not I like them. I would gladly take review copies of games but I would obviously make that clear at the beginning of the video I make. Aside from that, I would say I am concerned with being thorough in my Dissection series but that doesn't mean I wouldn't make smaller and quicker videos to share my perspective on things. Aside from that, thanks for reading this and I shall see you next time folks :-)
