The F-16 Fighter Jet, also known as the Fighting Falcon, is a single-engine supersonic multirole fighter aircraft originally developed by General Dynamics (now Lockheed Martin) for the United States Air Force (USAF).
The F-16 was designed to be a highly maneuverable and versatile aircraft capable of air-to-air combat as well as ground attack missions. It has been used in a variety of roles, including air defense, close air support, reconnaissance, and even as a training aircraft.
