0:00 In this video I'm going to show you how you can schedule your video uploads.
So, you've created a lot of videos and you want to upload them all at once.
Don't do it!
Ok. This isn't the best thing to do when you have a number of videos available to upload, especially if they are in a series or a sequence. What you should do is upload them, maybe, once a week or once every few days, so that you have a regular upload on your YouTube channel.
0:54 What can you do once you have all these videos available that you don't want to sit around and have to upload them every time you put your video up. Well, you can schedule your uploads. This feature has been around for a while but not everybody is taking advantage of it.
1:10 So, I'm going to go through over to the computer, now, and I'm going to show you how you can schedule your videos, so you don't have to be around when they're added to your channel.
1:18 Here I am in my channel and to upload my video I, just, click on 'Upload' on the top. Then when I go into the upload area, I select "Scheduled" from the dropdown. Then I select my video and drop it in...
1:37 Here, we have Scheduled on the right hand site and we have the date that we can set this to. So I can set this any time in the future, say the July the 4th and I can set the time to any time, say midnight... and then select any time zone that you want.
1:57 One thing you need to do is to obviously make sure you have your Title, Description, Tags, Custom Thumbnail and a message for your Subscribers as well. Share on Google+, Facebook and Twitter-- all those things as you would if you were. Make sure to add your Annotations -- all of those good things before you Publish.
2:19 When you have it all done, click on Publish and your video is done. The next thing you want to do, if you have more videos, is to click on "Add more videos", upload your videos and do the same with those ones. So you put in your date. So you can put it any time in the future, say a week after that and click on Publish until you have all your videos done, in the sequence that you want.
2:44 So that's how you quickly and easily, schedule videos onto your YouTube channel. Now you don't have to be around, every time, to upload your video, you can upload them all at once and have them scheduled and dripping out over time, so that you have regular releases on your YouTube channel, which is what YouTube prefers you to have.
