This is an 8-bit version of the Super Mario 64 Koopa's Road music. It's a bit older, but still pretty rad!
All my 8-bit songs are produced using Famitracker, a "free windows tracker for producing music for the NES/Famicom-systems. [...] One of the features is NSF-file exporting. That allows music created in this tracker to be played on the real hardware, or even for for use in your own NES-applications." In layman's terms, you can make LEGIT Nintendo music that can actually be put onto an NES cartridge (as opposed to synths that simply sound similar to NES music). I also only use 2 Square, Triangle, Noise, and DPCM - No extended channels, the same limitations placed upon the composers of early Nintendo music.
