How to Request REFERENCES in the Interview Process **WITH EXAMPLE EMAIL!**

You're in the interview process and your potential interviewer has requested references! YAY! This is great news. This means they are DEFINITELY interested in getting to know you more and are getting serious about moving you through the process and hiring you. So, now that you're in this phase of the interview process, how do you ask someone if they will be a reference for you? Do you just put them down and *hope* they will give you a good reference? (Hint: NO) Do you commit fraud and submit the reference checks yourself? (Hint: DEFINITELY NO! Absolutely NOT!) Do you list your references on your resume and assume the employer will contact them? (Hint: PLEASE NO!)
