Hudson Yards Construction - December 2012 through December 2017

New time-lapse video details the construction on the 28-acre Hudson Yards site. Construction began on 10 Hudson Yards, the 52-story tower at the corner of 30th Street and 10th Avenue, on December 4, 2012. Construction on the Eastern Rail Yard Platform began in March 2014 and 15 Hudson Yards broke ground in December 2014. Vertical construction on The Shops & Restaurants began in June 2015. 10 Hudson Yards topped out on October 7, 2015. Construction is in full swing with work on every element of the Eastern Yards marching towards completion. Vessel, a new kind of public landmark designed by Thomas Heatherwick topped out on December 6, 2017.
