Australian FINGER LIME - Growing Citrus in Containers

Australian finger limes or caviar lime are a citrus tree that can grow well in pots, so today I'll be showing you how to successfully grow these citrus trees in containers. They are an amazing gourmet bush tucker fruit sometimes called lime caviar because of their small juice vessels, that squeeze out like caviar. They can tolerate a small amount of light frost, though it isn't ideal, so growing finger limes in containers is a good option to protect them during winter. Finger limes or Citrus australasica is a subtropical plant native to Australia that produces a very weird and rare fruit that is hard to find. They look quite a bit different to other citrus, but can be grown in a similar way. These rare fruit can be eaten fresh, made into marmalade or pickles or used in savory or sweet gourmet restaurant meals.
