A local subscriber reached out about his Briggs and Stratton Storm Responder Generator which hasn't run in years. The connecting rod is broken and the engine just freewheels. I gave him the option of rebuilding the broken Briggs engine or replacing it with a new Subaru EX30 engine. He opted for the new engine. The Subaru is a little less powerful then the original and not a direct replacement. What it lacks in power, it will makeup for in quality.
