Every single #1 album on the Billboard 200 from the very beginning up until this past week.
THIS IS THE REMASTERED VERSION, NOTABLE CHANGES INCLUDE:
-Updated to the week of Jan 6. 2024
-Fixed several noteworthy typos and incorrect names + titles
-Fixed layering of stereo audio to align better with music videos
-1080p60 for videos recorded in that format
From the weeks of Aug 17. 1963 to Jan 6. 2024, there have been over 1,200 albums that have reached the top spot for at least one week. This video is a compilation of all of those albums; from the very beginning to the present. I made sure that I got the best possible audio for many songs that are questionable in quality depending on the videos they come with.
In terms of the actual video set up:
I picked the biggest, iconic, important or song that I felt was best representative of that album. I obviously couldn't play every song from the albums otherwise the video would be 10x longer than it already is. I also didn't include which track I played for the album because I thought it would be too much text on the screen (as if there already isn't). In terms of the album covers, I picked the standard edition of the albums. This means no deluxe version, etc. Also, if an album is explicit and has the parental advisory logo on the cover then I included it as well. Obviously not every explicit album includes the warning.
