How To Build A Simple IKEA Hobo Stove

I built this same IKEA Hobo Stove about 3 Years ago from an IKEA utensils caddy that I found at the Goodwill store for $3. It’s just a highly perforated stainless steel can meant to be used in dishwashers.
It’s been such a great stove that I wanted to build another. I couldn’t find another exactly like the first one, but it’s close. They're both 5.3” tall by 5.1” in diameter. I found it on Amazon for $12. Just Google, Amazon IKEA utensils caddy.
You would think that a lot of embers would just fall right out of all those holes and set the woods on fire, but surprisingly, not so much. Still though, you’ll only want to use this stove in controlled environments. It makes a great receptacle for fire making practice and the burning tinder bundles produced.
