The vocal quartet recorded briefly with George Hall after a stint with Charlie Barnet and prior to Paul Whiteman and (most famously) Glenn Miller. Both “There’s A Lull In My Life” and the flip “It’s Swell Of You” ( https://youtu.be/T1kwu6HbgTk ) were from Gordon & Revel’s hit-laden score for the 20th Century Fox film “Wake Up And Live.”

From 78rpm Variety 526 - There’s A Lull In My Life (Gordon-Revel) by George Hall & his Orchestra, vocal by the Four Modernaires, recorded in NYC March 25, 1937 .
