キヤノンは長崎県五島市と協働で、2018年に世界文化遺産に登録された「長崎と天草地方の潜伏キリシタン関連遺産」を紹介する超高精細8K映像を制作しました。撮影には、キヤノンの8Kカメラと広角から望遠まで豊富なラインアップを誇る「EFシネマレンズ」が用いられました。キヤノンは、この映像をきっかけに五島市の観光産業・地場産業の活性化に貢献するとともに、五島市の貴重な文化や美しい自然を高精細映像で記録し、後世に伝えることに寄与できればと考えています。
今回の映像の舞台となったのは、五島列島の久賀島（ひさかじま）。島の魅力がたっぷり詰まった美しい映像をぜひご覧ください！

Canon, with the cooperation of Nagasaki Prefecture’s Goto City, has produced an ultra-high-resolution 8K video showcasing the “Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region,” registered in 2018 as a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site. The video was shot using Canon’s 8K camera and rich lineup of EF Cinema lenses that span from wide-angle to telephoto. With the creation of these videos, Canon aims to both contribute to tourism and local businesses in the region and record the precious cultural and natural beauty of Goto City in ultra-high resolution so that it may be shared with future generations.
