Wikipedia:
The Bugatti Chiron is a super sports car from the French car manufacturer Bugatti Automobiles. He is named after the Monegasque racing driver Louis Chiron. On February 29, 2016, it was presented as the successor to the Veyron at the 86th Geneva Motor Show. The Bugatti Chiron has a mid-engine with 16 cylinders and 1103 kW (1500 hp); which is 25% more powerful than the engine of the Veyron 16.4. The double V engine, also known as the W engine, with two VR8 cylinder banks has an eight-liter displacement and four turbochargers, which are connected in two registers. At low speeds only two turbochargers work, at about 3800 rpm the other two are switched on. [3] The turbochargers are 69% larger than the previous engine of the Veyron. [4] This results in an improved engine response and, with the maximum torque of 1600 Newton meters between 2000 and 6000 revolutions per minute, a linear performance characteristic.

Via telemetry, which has been further developed compared to its predecessor, Bugatti can make real-time diagnoses for every vehicle at its headquarters. [5]

The shape of the body of the Chiron largely resembles that of the Vision Gran Turismo. The price of the super sports car limited to 500 copies is 2.4 million euros excluding taxes. [6]

The Chiron's suspension is adaptive, which means that the characteristics of the suspension and shock absorbers can be adjusted using a switch on the steering wheel. There are four driving modes: "EB" (for "Ettore Bugatti", automatic mode), "Lift" (increases ground clearance to drive over edges, up to 50 km / h), "Handling" (for the race track) and "Autobahn". [7]

The brake system is equipped with brake discs made of ceramic, carbon fiber reinforced silicon carbide (CSiC). They have a diameter of 420 mm at the front and 400 mm at the rear. They are two centimeters larger than in the Veyron. The brake calipers are made of titanium with eight pistons at the front and six at the rear. In addition, the rear wing stands up when braking and acts as an air brake. This increases the drag when braking at top speed by 75%. [8]

The Chiron has a so-called "easy-to-drift" mode. The driver is supported at the push of a button when drifting.
