DIY Natural Makeup Remover in just 3 easy steps! Makeup wipes are a mainstay in many of our beauty regimes, but often times they’re not great for our skin. So here’s how to make makeup remover wipes that won’t damage your skin!

In this tutorial I’ll be making homemade makeup remover with Aloe Vera & Witch Hazel that’s great for both sensitive skin and acne prone skin. Most commercial makeup removers rely on using soaps, alcohol or harsh chemicals for their cleansing agents that can dry out your skin and aggravate sensitive skin. However, this all-natural oil free makeup remover recipe doesn’t contain any soap, so it gently cleanses the skin without drying it out or clogging pores.
I’ll also show you how to make DIY makeup remover wipes & pads that are gentle enough to not damage your skin! Remember makeup wipes are best used in combination with a deep cleansing skin routine, and not as a substitute for washing your face. Homemade makeup removers are much better than the store bought alternatives for natural skincare, but always make sure to wash your face thoroughly after taking off your makeup.

How To Make Makeup Remover Wipes Recipe Below
Makes 250ml of Natural Makeup Remover:
• 125g Distilled or Freshly Boiled Water
• 50g Aloe Vera Gel
• 50g Rose Water
• 13g Witch Hazel
• 12g Glycerine
• 2 – 5% Preservative of Choice (depending on it’s instructions)

Our skin is the most vulnerable and prone to damage when we remove our makeup. Some of the biggest issues when it comes to makeup remover wipes are the harsh cleansing agents that can dry out your skin, all the oils and emulsifiers can clog pores and cause breakouts. And then to top it all off, many store bought makeup use rough and cheap material that can damage the surface layers of your skin.
