How Long Should You Stay on the low FODMAP Diet? The low FODMAP diet is helpful for irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), gas and bloating, chronic acid reflux, and other digestive symptoms. But how long should you stay on the low FODMAP diet? In this video, I explain by sharing my patient’s FODMAP experience with FODMAP intolerance and her FODMAP results from the FODMAP elimination phase. I also discuss how to approach FODMAP reintroductions of the FODMAP foods that trigger digestive symptoms.
