Excellence EL Carmen IS NOT the best hotel in Punta Cana - not even close!
When it comes to Punta Cana all-inclusive resorts, Excellence El Carmen is the gold standard for many people. After staying at Excellence Punta Cana last year and subsequently ranking it my #1 best overall hotel in Punta Cana, and then just recently enjoying a wonderful stay at the next door Finest Punta Cana, I was elated to finally stay at Excellence El Carmen and experience the magnificent moments everybody raves about.
Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, is great. Actually, it is an excellent hotel. But, it is not the top hotel in Punta Cana - not even top 5.
