80s Album Rock on Vinyl Records (Part 1)

In this video, Z-Bear moves her exploration of Album Rock into the decade of the 1980s. As with the 70s shows, some of these tracks were hits and singles back in their day. Others are album cuts that were only played by AOR stations or discovered at home and in the car by listeners who bought the full LPs on vinyl or cassette.

Even though all of these tracks are all technically Rock, there are a ton of variances in style as was the norm for the 80s. The influence of neighboring genres such as New Wave, Metal & Prog can be heard on many of these songs.
