Episode Notes:

1. Captured from the Mega SG(Gameplay). Music from real hardware.

2. I broke my leg the summer Part 1 was released. Having it at the time was a godsend for my mental health.

3. Street of Rage 2 was released on a 16 megabit cartridge, four times the size of the original.

4. Streets of Rage 3 was released on a 24 megabit cartridge.

5. After the mainline Genesis releases, a new Streets of Rage never appeared on Saturn or Dreamcast.

6. Adam will always be my favorite in Part 1. His absence in 2 and 3 was criminal.

7. 5 companies made Streets of Rage 2:
Sega CS
Ancient
H.I.C.
Shout! Designworks
MNM Software

8. Yuzo was certainly the lead on part 2, but a couple others contributed heavily to the sound.
Music Composition: Yuzo Koshiro, Motohiro Kawashima
Sound Effect: Yuzo Koshiro
Sound Driver: Takeshi Maruyama

9. The European version of part 2 allows you to pick the same fighters in co-op using a code.

10. There are a few differences between regions in part 2. Some mild censorship is there for instance. Mr X smokes a cigar in the Japanese version, and you can see Blaze's underwear during her attacks.

11. There was a pack in of part 2 with the Sega Genesis called the "Fighting System" briefly. It's quite rare today to find it complete.

12. As far as I know, the PAL releases of part 3 had all the same changes as the US version.

13. I always believed that Sega should have done a special Sega CD or 32X edition of these as well. It was such a missed opportunity.

14. Max is missing from part 3 entirely.

15. The Japanese version of part 3 has more difficulty settings open by default. There is a Very Hard mode that is quite nasty.
