ポップに着こなす“着せ替えSixTONES”
2022年3月2日リリース 6thシングル「共鳴」収録
前作超えの大ヒットを記録している2ndアルバム 「CITY」 をリリースしたばかりのSixTONESが、早くも6thシングルとして新曲 「共鳴」 のリリースが決定。そのシングルに収録されるカップリング曲 「FASHION」のミュージックビデオを公開。
「FASHION」 は、シングル表題曲 「共鳴」 の疾走感溢れる力強いサウンドとは打って変わった、個性が輝くPOP SONG。世界中がキミのRunway、自分らしくキメて踊れば、ファッションは何にでもなれる魔法だと歌う。
そのミュージックビデオは、固定カメラで撮影された言わば 「ルックブック」 風ミュージックビデオ。テーマに沿ったファッションを一人につき何ポーズも着こなすSixTONESは、さながら 「着せ替え人形」。
メンバー一人ひとりの個性を活かしたスタイリングがより “メンバーらしさ” を際立たせ、普段のクールなSixTONESとのギャップを見ることのできるビデオが完成した。様々なファッションに身を包み、時にはおどける姿は、また新たなSixTONESの一面を楽しむ事ができる作品となっている。

“Changing pop fashion: SixTONES”
Released on Mar 2, 2022. Included in the 6th single, “Kyomei”
Soon after the hit release of the 2nd album “CITY”, SixTONES already releases their 6th single, “Kyomei”. Here is the music video for “FASHION”, the B-side of that single.
Contrary to the fast, strong sound of the title song “Kyomei”, “FASHION” is a unique pop song. The whole world is your runway; dress up in your style and dance --- fashion is like magic, you can be anything you want!
The music video is like their ‘look book’, using a fixed camera. The members are like ‘dress-up dolls’, changing into different outfits that match each theme.
Each fashion perfectly fits and emphasizes the members’ characters and styles, and they seem different from their usual cool selves. The way they dress up in various outfits and sometimes clowning around, they show some of their new sides to us in this video.
