Crazy Crowds at Tokyo’s Top 5 Cherry Blossom Spots - 4K HDR - 2 Hours walk

This year's sakura season was a bit of a mad scramble, as there was only a single weekend of sunny warm weather for cherry blossom viewings, sandwiched between cold, rainy, and windy weather. By the following tuesday, a small rainstorm passed through, and knocked all the pedals off the trees. So some of Tokyo's most famous sakura viewing spots were jam packed with locals and tourists alike, trying to get their fill of the beautiful blossoms before it was too late. Also noteworthy is that this year officially marks the most foreign tourists coming back to japan this season in over ten years! Although many of the most popular places were crowded, there were still many other places throughout the city where the blossoms could be enjoyed in peace.
