Sky News host Chris Kenny has commended Caitlyn Jenner for standing up to pro-Palestine protesters at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
A pro-Palestine protest was held outside the White House Correspondents’ Dinner overnight.
“No doubt a majority of the journalists at the function would have sympathised with this crowd anyway, but one person was brave enough to stand up to them was former Olympic champion, reality TV celebrity and now public affairs commentator Caitlyn Jenner,” Mr Kenny said.
“Jenner proclaimed herself as a lifelong champion of the Jewish people, who are some of the most oppressed in the world.
“She said the only thing to protest is Hamas, and she branded the protesters as Hamas sympathisers, and she vowed not to be silenced by them.
“Well said, Caitlyn Jenner.”
