Episode 312 welcomes yangskinny to THE FIRST TAKE for the first time. Singer-songwriter Kayayu’s search on social media for like-minded musicians sparked the beginning of the 4-piece rock band formed in August 2020.
For this performance, yangskinny will be performing “Hontowane,” a love song that triggered a storm of empathy on social media with its catchy melody and lyrics depicting the contradicting emotions that come with love.
The lyrics, reflecting a short-film-like realistic narrative filled with sensitive and intense emotions, will be brought to life by a special lineup of the 4 members of yangskinny, plus a keyboard player. Kick back and enjoy their one-shot performance.
