This video shows the first round. Some passes are ambiguous to interpretation. If I have made an error in doing so, then please post the correction in the comments below. In the meantime, I interpret the matches presented as follows:

Xzuu (H) vs Graimyr (E)
DS AD SA
The Sad Sack.

Poikilo (H) vs Faris (H)
AD SW WA SD
Faris opens on the unhappy-end of a DA-split. They dance for the next pass and Poikilo pads their lead. Next, Faris plays it safe to A while Poikilo sacrifices to W for a decisive pass. It fails as both cross and Faris takes it outright.

If you're gonna use a W-sacrifice, especially when it is not necessarily warranted, you had better have knowledge of your opponent. Doing so, on a whim, sometimes works but, also, sometimes fails. The other thing is that Poikilo crossed from disadvantage for the last pass. If the final pass was SW, Faris is more likely to inflict a lethal blow than Poikilo. If the final pass is SS, it just leads to a tie-breaker. After crossing to W, Poikilo should have either advanced to D or countered to A.

Jurunrishi (H) vs dajeyman (H)
DA WS AA WW
Dajeyman opens on the happy-end of an AD-split. They dance for the next pass and pad their lead. Next, they take a chance and advance to A and successfully meet Jurunrishi there. It's all over but for the jousting. They rock-it to W and dajeyman takes it outright.

Once in a while you need to do that high-risk crossing to S, in the third pass, to keep opponents honest. This is one of those situations where a database helps. Jurunrishi is a new jouster, so there'll be no data of them on the channel. This is why you need to look for new opponents, during the week. I do and I already had data on them.

Kurisumurei (H) vs Kenkosama (H)
WD SA AS SD AA WW
An exciting match. Jurisumurei draws first-blood with an opening W-hit. Both cross and they hit again. The jousters alternate and Kenkosama makes back a good chunk of their deficit. Both counter and Kenkosama takes the lead. They follow convention to A then rock-it to W and the computer chooses Kenkosama.

Kenkosama played recklessly in this match. In pass two, to their detriment, they crossed from disadvantage and paid for it; that was a bad move. In pass four, to their benefit, they countered from advantage to take the lead; that was a good move, especially if Kenkosama realised that WS would have been an outright win for Kurisumurei. Once Kenkosama had the lead, then, they played cautiously to the end.
