Captain South Africa | Siya Kolisi

Siya Kolisi is Springbok captain number 61 and has possibly the most inspirational stories of any former Springbok rugby captain.

Kolisi grew up in the impoverished Zwide township outside Port Elizabeth in South Africa.
Through great rugby skills, Siya received a rugby scholarship to go to Grey High, it was this opportunity along with others that saw Siya play for the Grey High 1st XV, the Eastern Province Kings youth set-up between 2007 and 2009, Under-16 Grant Khomo week for EP Kings and the Under-18 Craven Week for EP Kings too before shifting west to join Western Province where he has now played over 100 tests for the Stormers in Super Rugby.

Siya Kolisi is the Captain of the South African Provincial Rugby team The Stormers in Super Rugby and Western Province in the Currie Cup.

Siya Kolisi is a 2019 Rugby World Cup Winner with the Springboks and 2019 Rugby Championship winner with the Springbok Rugby Team
