Best Paint Day Ever 1211
This morning we are mixing up the normal routine and the whole family is doing a full blown art project. You remember Adley's clubhouse? The one with the indoor slide that the kiddos, including Baby Navey, love going down? Well we decided that we are going to paint it! That's right, a DIY family fun project of painting.
We were super lucky to be able to partnered up with Benjamin Moore paint to do this, not only because the paint is such a high quality, but they have an app that allowed us to instantly color match some of the colors already inside Adley's new room. That way when we painted the club house, its blends with the rest of the room.
Jenny has everything all prepped, taped, and ready to paint. The kiddos and I, after a few slides of course, grab paint brushes and start painting. We start with this really nice blue, that makes us feel like we are mermaids under the ocean. Adley decides that we should paint each wall a different color, which is a great idea!! Niko painting for the very first time is amazing, Adley does a great job, and we are all having so much fun!! It is a little messy though, but nothing wrong with that when you're painting.
We have paint one wall green, another gold (kinda like spacestation gaming), and the last one a red. The kiddos are having fun and every know and then need a little slide break. They actually become pillow racers, sitting on pillow and going even faster. Adley, who has always been a daredevil, goes down the slide in a laundry basket!! She's crazy!!
We take a quick break to let some of the paint dry, so Jenny and the kiddos go downstairs to play in the ultimate baby playroom. Adley is being a dog groomer and gets Jenny's new pet all ready for a royal ball!! How exciting!
After some touch ups and finishing the paint project, Jenny and I go outside with Baby Navey. Navey loves the trampoline so we play as a family on there!! Navey has the cutest laugh ever!! I love it!
