37 Macc was born Talib Nasir a Philadelphia native and son of podcast / rap star Gillie Da king and Emmy award winning make up artist Regina Little. Growing up Macc was very involved in sports and boxing .

His boxing dreams were quickly out-shined by his passion to make music .
Macc started his music journey with his older brother YNG Cheese . The brothers jumped into the business as a group named "Macc N Cheese " . They
released 4 songs "Ignore" , "Pesos" , "Who Is Who" & "Detroit Flow" on their Fathers Label "Million Dollars Worth Of Game Entertainment".
Tragedy struck shortly after their rise as YNG Cheese was murdered in the cold streets of Philly leaving Macc and his love ones in disbelief . With a pain filled heart a the passion of his brother Macc decided to Do it for Cheese and pick up where the Duo left off and make an album to honor his Brother.
